How this site makes money

WattFigures is funded by display advertising served by Google AdSense. Advertisers never see or influence articles before publication, and ad placements are clearly separated from content.

This site currently uses no affiliate links. If that ever changes we will say so plainly here and label any article that contains them; a commission would never change a recommendation or a calculated figure.

Products and reviews

We do not run paid product reviews and do not accept appliances or gear in exchange for coverage. Where we mention typical products it is for illustration only, and any opinion is our own.

Third-party names

Utility, retailer and product names mentioned anywhere on this site (for example in the country price tables) are trademarks of their respective owners, used only to identify and compare publicly available pricing. Mentioning a company here does not mean it sponsors, endorses or is affiliated with WattFigures.

Use of AI tools

Drafting and research may be assisted by software tools, including AI. Every published article is edited, fact-checked and approved by a human (WattFigures), who is responsible for its content.
